The Illustra ProGen 4 Series of cameras supports object classification including persons, cars, buses, bicycles, and motorbikes.
The Axis AOA camera models support AI-based object detection and classification. Axis Object Analytics runs as an app on cameras running 10.2 firmware and higher.
The exacqVision 21.09 software release includes added support for object classification analytics with the Illustra ProGen4 and Axis camera lines, removeable privacy windows for industries such as law enforcement agencies, prisons, and rail companies and more.

With the ability for AI cameras to detect moving objects in a scene and classify them as persons or vehicles, the manual time of filtering out objects like animals is reduced. Security operations are also streamlined with rules that can be configured to trigger an alarm for activities such as movement within a predefined area and persons who are lingering or dwelling in an unauthorized space.
